Snapshot / Role Overview

We're seeking an HVAC Project Manager in Orange County to lead major commercial HVAC construction projects, with a strong focus on healthcare work regulated by HCAI, formerly OSHPD.

Impact

• Deliver multi-million-dollar HVAC projects on time and on budget.
• Keep HCAI inspections and documentation ahead of schedule.
• Build relationships with general contractors, owners, and inspectors that bring repeat work.
• Protect margin by catching scope creep and cost risk early.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases from buyout through closeout.
• Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and material procurement.
• Prepare, track, and negotiate change orders, RFIs, and submittals in Bluebeam.
• Lead OAC meetings and report progress to ownership and general contractors.
• Maintain full HCAI documentation compliance through inspection milestones.
• Forecast costs monthly and correct course.
• Mentor project engineers and support superintendents.

Must-Haves

• Project management of large commercial HVAC construction.
• Experience on HCAI or OSHPD-regulated healthcare projects.
• Command of Bluebeam and project management platforms.

Nice-to-Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• Design-build background.

Compensation and Logistics
